EPS Mold
An EPS mold (also called EPS mould or EPS forming mold) is a special customized mold used in an EPS shape molding machine to produce shaped EPS foam products. It is the part that gives the EPS beads their final product shape.
Basic Structure of EPS mold
• Made of aluminum alloy (light, good heat conduction)
• Consists of male mold (cavity) and female mold (core)
• Has small holes for steam injection and vacuum cooling
• Equipped with ejector pins for product release
Main Function of EPS mold
• Holds pre-expanded EPS beads during molding
• Allows steam to heat and fuse beads into a solid shape
• Cools the product quickly to maintain its form
• Produces exact, repeatable shapes in large quantities
