EPS injector key features

• Core role: Safely and efficiently eject cooled EPS products (packaging, insulation, foam boxes) from molds without damage。

• Alias: EPS ejector pin, pushrod, de-molding pin。

• Material: Usually stainless steel (corrosion-resistant, high strength)。

EPS injector main types

• Mechanical ejector: Uses springs/pneumatic cylinders for mechanical pushing; has drilled plates, long springs, cotter pins.

• Hydraulic ejector (most common): Hydraulic-driven stainless steel rods (no drilling); includes extension rods, spring supports, sealing rings.

How EPS ejector works

1. EPS beads are steamed, expanded, and cooled in the mold.

2. The ejector rod extends into the mold cavity.

3. It pushes the solidified EPS part out of the mold.

4. The rod retracts for the next cycle。

EPS ejector

EPS ejector (also called ejector pin/pushrod) is a de-molding component for Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam molds, used to push finished EPS parts out of mold cavities after cooling, and it is an essential for automated EPS production lines.
