Why EPS production line needs steam pressure reducing valve

 

Boilers usually supply high-pressure steam, but EPS foaming/molding only works with low-pressure saturated steam.

Too high pressure → over-expansion, shrinkage, burnt foam, defective products.

Unstable pressure → uneven bead density, unstable finished parts.

 

How steam pressure reducing valve works

 

1. High-pressure steam enters the reducer

2. Internal valve automatically throttles and drops pressure

3. Output stable low-pressure steam to each EPS machine

4. Auto-adjusts inlet pressure changes to keep outlet pressure steady
